SHOTT is constantly exploring ways to manage the company’s environmental impact on communities and on business. We are focusing on waste reduction and recycling, and aim to efficiently manage and monitor systems for energy and water, as well as sustainable packaging.
Approximately 85% of our total waste is recycled including our main sources of waste – cardboard, plastic, and glass. We are committed to managing our impact on the environment and to improving systems across our business to improve our environmental performance. This is based on a Waste & Recycling Report.
Monthly reports are generated on energy consumption and we are actively working to reduce energy usage in day-to-day operations.
Trade Waste is monitored and managed through Water Usage and Disposal Summary sheets.
